Founded in 1954 by James Davis, a spinner of renown, Acme Spinning continues to maintain its reputation for producing high quality components for its wide customer base.

Suppliers to engineering, from ventilation fans to tube production, to filing systems, lighting components and heater systems our highly skilled, precision hand spinners produce intricate work in mild steel, copper, brass aluminium or stainless steel from 0.5mm to 3.0mm thick and up to 1500mm diameter. We offer a service from advice on the drawing of design to the polishing, anodising, powder coating and presswork of the finished spinning. All work carries full certificates of conformity and mill certificates.

All of our hand spinners are highly skilled and experienced in working to specification from customers drawings, i.e.: Tolerance to within .25mm. Close grain finish on all spinnings. Presswork, Polishing, Powder Coating and Anodising are all available. Packaging options include cartons, polythene wrapping, banding and palletised product for sale distribution. A prompt, next day nationwide delivery service is available if requested.
